Friends of Maclay Gardens is a volunteer-led nonprofit citizen support organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park. Volunteers help bring our mission to life by supporting events, welcoming visitors, assisting with projects, and helping preserve the Maclay legacy for future generations.
Ways to Help
Volunteer opportunities may include:
No Experience Needed
Whether you have a few hours a year or want to be more involved, there is a place for you. Some volunteer roles are outdoors, while others can be done behind the scenes. We welcome individuals, families, students, retirees, and community groups.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is a meaningful way to enjoy the park, meet others who care about Maclay Gardens, and make a direct impact. Every hour helps support preservation, restoration, events, and visitor experiences.
